Engagement preview and shootsac uses

I'm so excited to edit Kristyn and Kevin's engagement photoshoot! But I wanted to put up a teaser photo and a new use for my shootsac cover that I discovered! Instead of having to sit on the ground in a dress, I just used the cover. Shootsac is not only keeping photographers happy, but also brides :D

Solange and Ryan Mini-Maternity shoot - NJ Wedding Photographer

Solie bear is one of my most favorite people in the whole world! I am so excited that she's pregnant and offered to do a mini maternity shoot for her and Ryan. I wish we had more than 5 minutes to shoot, but Solie had a baby shower to go to :D I heart you both! Congratulations!!!

First bridal show!

Thanks everyone for coming out to visit me at my first bridal show! Yay! It was held at the amazing Windows on the Water at Frogbridge in Millstone, NJ. The event planner Scott, was just so awesome in creating this bridal show and he was so kind to all of the vendors! I met some really great vendors there and the food was amazing! Here are some pictures of what my table looked like :)

I feel called to post this-

"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."-Matthew 5:43-48

I really need to remind myself this everyday...

Stephen and Diane {Married}

I had the AWESOME opportunity to work with Vanessa Joy and Andres Valenzuela. Vanessa, who was the main photographer for Stephen and Diane's wedding, is just amazing! Her work is gorgeous, she's one of the sweetest people I've ever met, and she does really unique things like she made the Bride and Groom and album during the reception of the images she shot that day! I'm just so grateful I had the opportunity to work with Vanessa and Andres and I learned so much! Here are some of my favorite shots of the day... :)

Rosemary and Bill {Engaged} Jersey Shore inspired shoot

I was so excited to shoot a Jersey Shore inspired engagement shoot with Rosemary and Bill. Even though the light was beyond harsh and not ideal, the backgrounds and props from the amusement park were so much fun to shoot with. The photoshoot was taken on Jenkinsons boardwalk in Point Pleasant, NJ.

I love this shot below because we actually saw President Obama's helicopters fly over the beach.

The next two shots are the hardest shots I've ever taken in my life. First, the ride was spinning and I was in front. Then I had to turn around during the whole ride which made me EXTREMELY dizzy! Then, I had to keep the shutter speed slow enough so the background blurred but Rosemary and Bill were still in focus and I had to constantly keep re-focusing and panning. Finally, I am afraid of heights lol. I really love how they turned out but I will never do this shot again ;)
